Bemidji Brewing: Reviews & Ratings
Stopped in to get a few 6 packs. My first visit. Came to get their Autumn IPA. Had this great beer at the Sanford Center. Was surprised that a 6-pack of Oktoberfest was $16 at the brewery. Regardless, bought it anyway and a sticker. On the way out of town, went to Bemidji Lake View Liquor and found both the Autumn IPA and the Oktoberfest. $3 cheaper, which was very confusing? Not sure how the pricing works, but buy it at the liquor store to save some money. Get the Autumn IPA if you can find it.
What can I say? This place is amazing and one of my top breweries in the US. Cheers to the brew crew that makes delicious beer. I’ve been here several times throughout the years and this place never disappoints with many different styles to always choose from. I always take mass amounts of beer back to my hometown to share with other brewers who can appreciate the quality that comes from here. I also have international friends that also take Bemidji beers back to their country to share with friends and family. Bemidji Brewing should be on your “stop once in a lifetime” list if it isn’t already. Couldn’t be more happy to leave a great review for Bemidji Brewing.
Bemidji Brewing is a local brewery that has a fantastic tap selection. We were particularly interested in trying a bunch of beers, so we had a flight and found there was something for every beer taste, including pilsners, IPAs, sours, and stouts. There are some snacks and pizzas for purchase, but otherwise no food.
Come for the beer, stay for the people! Awesome brewery. Their Winter IPA was epic. So good I had two. And that was not an easy decision as they had a solid list of taps top to bottom. And the staff. Wow. Amazing! So welcoming! If a beer fan, stop by. Don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed. I promise!
Good beer, good prices and friendly staff. The inside was well designed and had inviting indoor and outdoor seating. Great spot to sit back and enjoy a few cold beers.
Left Grand Forks on a mission. A mission to visit the source of so many 6-packs of Summer IPA I've destroyed. There was a detour on highway 2 which lead me to a road less traveled (92) through Clearbrook. Beautiful drive. I arrived at Bemidji Brewing at 11:00am when they opened. There is ample street parking and 4 spots (one handicapped) right up front. The AC is very nice inside, but they have a nice little patio too. I sat at the beautiful wooden-slab bar. All of the low and High tops behind me were unoccupied, but I was told come 3-4pm it's fill up to capacity. They have a small food menu that is pretty legit, but the beer is the star of the show. Came for the summer IPA and ended up falling in love with the Blood Orange IPA. (Don't worry, 7 of the 10 on tap aren't IPAs) The have a rewards system that logs your visits and award you points. The staff very knowledgeable and super friendly. 100% will be back to Bemidji Brewing. @devinejd
We were looking forward to making a visit to Bemidji brewing before we stopped in. The taproom was spacious and clean. This is definitely a popular place, there were several parties already there right at open the day we went. The staff was friendly and served us right away. We signed up for the rewards program at checkout and were able to get a couple rewards after our first visit. We brought back the fills to share with my parents and they looked forward to the refills we grabbed a few days later when we were in town. Being the only brewery in the area, and in a college town, I didn’t know what to expect. But it was a great place to stop by. There was a great selection available. I would recommend popping in if you’re in the area.
Must try the Oud Bruin Kriek! Takes up to two years to make since its aged in maple syrup barrels and with the tartness of the sour cherries it makes this one a real winner! Lemondrop Blonde is a perfect Shandy with a jacked up citrus flavor (pictured). Blood Orange IPA was not nearly as bitter as I thought it would be and just enough blood orange to notice on the palette without being too sweet. Nice to see seltzers on the menu too! Octoberfest and Espresso Stout were both good enough to bring home growlers!
